Start by admiring the largest Christmas tree in the world, which stands at a whopping 85 feet (that’s equal to eight stories). Then, explore the rest of the park that’s awash in Christmas lights and boasts a full menu of family-friendly activities. You can even meet Santa!

2. Promised Land Zoo – Branson

5. The Magic Tree – Columbia

7. Enchanted Village of Lights – Laurie

Drive through the Enchanted Village of Lights, which spans 27 magical acres. Admission is free, although you can offer a donation! The lights turn on for the first time in November, and the event runs through January 1st. This is an adorable little Christmas town in Missouri that's sure to bring back the magic of Christmas for yet another year.

Where can I see the best Christmas light displays in Missouri?  

Winter in Missouri is a magical time and it seems like no matter where you turn, you’ll find all sorts of Christmas cheer. There are dozens – if not more – Christmas light displays in Missouri to choose from, though we don’t see anything wrong with visiting every single one! Head to Branson and enjoy the glow of more than six and a half million lights or wander to St. Louis and do the Garden Glow at Missouri Botanical Garden, which features more than a million lights. While in St. Louis, be sure to also check out Wild Lights, and then head to Eureka and check out the magical Santa’s Holiday Kingdom!  

What is Christmas in Missouri like?  

Christmas in Missouri is such a delightful, happy time. Everywhere you go, people are just happy, kind, and warm. It’s a time of giving and love, and just about every small town in Missouri embraces this. We take Christmas – and the holidays – pretty seriously around here and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Attend some wonderful Christmas festivals in Missouri, or maybe go snow-tubing somewhere. Some of Missouri’s small towns go all-out and transform into magical Christmas wonderlands every year, and we are HERE for it. St. Charles has festivities that last all month long, like the annual Christmas Traditions Festival, which is a must-do for the whole fam. Warrensburg likes to go the classic route and tends to Dickens it up, transforming seemingly overnight into an 1800s Christmas town. A Christmas Carol was published here, so it only makes sense!
