Are we insane? Or just really unique? I’d rather go with the latter. Here are a few weird things that Missourians do that tend to baffle outsiders.

When it comes to fan support, we're not ones to keep quiet. In fact, we hold the Guinness World's Record for reaching the loudest noise level at an NFL game. So, we may look like we're out of our minds, but at least we have our names in the record books.

When it comes to Mardi Gras in St. Louis, anything goes. Well, not anything. But wearing ridiculous outfits, drinking in the streets and begging for beads? Totally acceptable.

Missourians are so stubborn and used to tornadoes, that it's not common for us to just take our sweet time when heading home during a tornado. Or throw a rowdy tornado party.
When it drops into single digits, anything over 40 degrees is basically tropical during the winter.

Okay, so maybe not all Missourians. But for adventure-seekers and hiking lovers, the 350-mile Ozark trail is a must. It may sound crazy, but the views are gorgeous.
Provel cheese is most popular in St. Louis, specifically at Imo's Pizzeria. The block of processed cheese can be bought at most grocery stores and is a blend of cheddar, Swiss and provolone. Some love it, some hate it, but either way, we're slightly crazy for even creating it.
It tastes like chicken...sort of. It may seem weird to out-of-towners, but for a lot of locals, it sounds and tastes delicious.
