When a day of on-the-water fun is in order, head to Tylertown, which is where you’ll find Canoe and Trail Outpost.
For years, Canoe and Trail Outpost has been helping adventure-seekers get out on the Bogue Chitto River and Magee’s Creek by offering canoe, kayak, and tube rentals.
Though the average float time is 10 hours, it could take longer, depending on how often you stop at the sandbars along the way. One of the best things about the overnight trip, though, is that you can camp right on the river’s edge.
So, are you ready to plan your on-the-water adventure? Canoe and Trail Outpost is open seven days a week, March – December. For more information, call (601) 876-6964. You can also check out the Canoe and Trail Outpost website or Facebook page.
