Spanning 800,000 square feet, Island View Casino Resort in Gulfport is the largest land-based casino on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. As you’d imagine, it’s brimming with amenities, but they’re not all contained to its massive interior.
One of the resort’s best features, Coast Candymakers lies just outside its doors. More specifically, you’ll find the tiny sweet shop right next to the Island View.
The shop may be small but its selection of confections is anything but. Traditional treats, like fudge, salt water taffy, pralines, and chocolates, are plentiful.
If you can’t make it to Coast Candymakers to get your candy fix, we’ve got the next best thing – instructional videos from Coast Candymakers, so you can make your favorite treats at home. The video below is one of several posted to the casino’s Facebook page.
For more information, call Coast Candymakers at (228) 314-1521. You can also visit Island View Casino website or Facebook page.
So, did you know about this sweet spot? Ever visited? If so, what’d you order and how was it? Tell us in the comments section.
This isn’t the Gulf Coast’s only sweet shop. Read about another here.
