In fact, according to data released by the website Sperling’s Best Places, 59.24% of Mississippians consider themselves to be religious. To put that into perspective, it’s almost a full 10% above the national average. The website took things a step further and analyzed data to determine how the state’s counties ranked; here are the 10 most religious.

71.68% of residents of this county identify as religious – an impressive number, especially when you consider it’s 10th on the list.
