The Ross R. Barnett Reservoir is a massive, 33,000-acre lake that’s Mississippi’s largest drinking water resource and one of the most popular spots for outdoor fun. There are five campgrounds peppered around the lake as well as many boat launches, parks, and piers for fishing, boating, and swimming, and it also just happens to be nestled along the historic Natchez Trace, one of the most scenic drives in the country.
