Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for the past 25 years. While the Windsor Ruins are most often associated with Mississippi, the ruins of St. John’s Episcopal Church are just as worthy of a visit. In fact, they are one of the most photographed historic sites in the state.
The church was built in Glen Allan around 1830, making it one of the first churches constructed in the Delta region.
Situated in the middle of Greenfield Cemetery, the beautiful ruins are truly a sight to be seen, and one way to do so is by taking the Greenfield Cemetery Candlelight Tour.
