Picture-Perfect Pies And Tantalizing Treats Are Whipped Up Daily At Urban Foxes In Mississippi

Urban Foxes may not sound like your typical bakery – and that’s because it isn’t! The small-batch bakeshop boasts a menu of sweets and eats, but the true star of the menu is the pie, which comes in both sweet and savory varieties. And just like the bakery’s name, the pies are anything but typical. Take a look:

Urban Foxes is housed in a 1920s Craftsman-style bungalow in Jackson’s Belhaven Heights neighborhood.

The name may seem unusual, but it’s actually a nod to Scotland, where foxes are commonly found in urban areas.

Inside, you’ll be met with a cozy and quirky interior that’s as eclectic as the eatery’s moniker.

Aside from the digs, it’s the incredible aroma of fresh-baked goods that you’re sure to notice once inside.

The family-owned pie shop offers a rotating menu of small-batch baked goods, coffee, beer, and…

…you guessed it, pies!

Nothing about Urban Foxes is typical, and the pies are no exception.

Re-inventing old favorites, the pie shop’s creations feature “classic flavors with a twist on their original execution.”

It’s not just sweet pies on the menu, though. Urban Foxes serves up savory pies and quiches, too.

A perfect pit stop for pie fans of all proportions, the pies are available by-the-slice or as a flight.

Whole pies are also available; however, they must be special ordered in advance.
