Start your trip off with a stop by this "charming little bakery by the sea." In addition to bakery staples, like cakes, cookies, and cupcakes, the sweet shop is known for its extreme shakes, which come piled high with all sorts of toppings. Only adding to the bakery’s charm is the fact that you get to keep the Mason jar mug your shake is served in.

Opened in April 2019, this is the newest place on the trail; however, it doesn’t mean it’s any less worthy. For years, The Yard has been serving up decadent dairy desserts at its other locations in Alabama and Florida. Luckily, Mississippi now has its own location (next to Five Guys), which is great news for milkshake lovers since The Yard is known for its "crazy specialty milkshakes."

While Ed’s is technically a burger joint, it just so happens to serve amazing milkshakes that are bound to be unlike any you’ve ever tasted.
