There are amazing holiday light displays all over the Magnolia State. Some have been around for years, while others, like Lights of the Wild, are making their debut this year. Slated to take place at the Hattiesburg Zoo, the dazzling display is made up of hundreds of glowing lanterns, which come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Take a look:
This year, the Hattiesburg Zoo is celebrating the holidays with an all-new – and unbelievably beautiful - light display, Lights of the Wild.
The lanterns come in all sorts of shapes, including animals, plants, and Asian elements. Sizes of the lanterns are just as varied – some of the lanterns are upwards of 19’ tall and 50’ long.
Completely unique, Lights of the Wild is the first and only event of its kind in Mississippi. There’s more to the display than glowing lanterns, though. Admission to Lights of the Wild also includes unlimited rides on the zoo’s train and carousel.
