Dive Deep Underwater And Get Up Close And Personal With Fish, Sharks, Rays, And More At Mississippi Aquarium
Don’t let a lack of scuba diving knowledge or the inability to swim deter you from enjoying the perks of an underwater experience. Thanks to SeaTREK, which is otherwise known as helmet diving, just about anyone can immerse themselves into the ocean’s habitat. Take a look:
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Though it’s only been open a short time, it’s already been deemed one of the state’s top attractions.

What’s more, your hair and face remain dry throughout the entire experience. You can even wear glasses while doing it!

Additionally, the SeaTREK experience must be booked in advance via the aquarium’s website. There are only two sessions per day – each of which is limited to four participants – so it’s important to reserve your spot early.

And though wetsuits are provided, participants need to bring a bathing suit and towel.
For more information on SeaTREK, call Mississippi Aquarium at (228) 241-1300. You can also visit the aquarium’s website or Facebook page.
