Enterprise, Mississippi is a tiny little town home to about 500 people… definitely not a “destination town” where you dream about spending your vacation, but it is home to a very special, scenic spot that deserves an afternoon visit. Dunn’s Falls Waterpark has a very unique history that dates back to the 1800s, and it just so happens to be home to the tallest waterfall in Mississippi. The crown jewel of the park is Dunn’s Falls, a waterfall that was created by John Dunn in the 1850s to power a gristmill that was actually moved from Cave Springs, Georgia in 1987 and relocated here, at the site of Dunn’s original mill.
Bring some snacks and spend some time admiring the scenic surroundings.
