Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for the past 25 years. Part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore, the island offers pristine beaches, beautiful water, and the chance to spot some dolphins. There’s even an old fort, which is perfect for some exploration. Ship Island is 11 miles from the coast and can be easily accessed thanks to Ship Island Excursions.
Ship Island Excursions’ spring season begins on March 18th. During this time, charters to Ship Island are offered on Wednesday through Sunday.
