If you’re a fan of barbecue (and who isn’t?) then Mississippi is the place for you. In addition to an entire trail devoted to the smoky goodness, the state has numerous restaurants known for serving incredible barbecue. One such eatery can be found in Picayune, and it’s called Stonewall’s. The small town barbecue joint has quickly garnered a reputation for its award-winning barbecue, mouthwatering sides, and amazing service. Take a look:
The owners of Stonewall’s, Tony and Angie Smith, have been serving "their finger licking barbecue" for nearly two decades now.
Tony’s dad, who still works at Stonewall’s, has over 40 years experience in the food industry and has worked alongside several notable names, including Colonel Harlan Sanders (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and Roy Rogers (Roy Roger’s Roast Beef).

The baby back ribs are by far one of the most popular items and definitely explain the tagline, "the place for ribs."
And what would a barbecue joint be without great barbecue sandwiches? Browse the menu and you’ll find everything from your typical sandwich to unique creations.
