It's the most wonderful time of the year! Columbia, Mississippi is kicking off their holiday festivities, and you surely won't want to miss out.
For just $15, you'll get access to skate rentals plus one hour of ice skating. And the best part of all? There's no experience required! There will be skate assists on hand to help with kids and beginner ice skaters free of charge. This year, the skating rink will be open through January 1st.
After enjoying your skating adventure, be sure to take time to explore downtown at night. The famous Lighting of Downtown will take place on November 27th, illuminating the entire city with thousands of magical lights.
Admission to the Parade of Lights is completely free. This family-friendly event is sure to dazzle spectators of all ages. During the event, dozens of floats will make their way through downtown Columbia. It's every bit as exciting as the Macy's Day Parade!
Last but certainly not least is the much-anticipated New Year's Eve celebration. On December 31st, head downtown to watch popular musical performers and awe-inspiring astral fireworks.
