Everyone loves The Wizard of Oz, but the movie holds an even more special place in the hearts of many Minnesotans. Why? Because Judy Garland — the actress who played Dorothy — was born in Grand Rapids. Though the family left when Judy was just four years old, her short tenure in Minnesota is still remembered to this day. Each year, the Judy Garland Museum hosts a Wizard of Oz Festival that, for any fan of Oz, is a must-see event. Check it out:
