Minnesota is known for its more than 10,000 lakes, but our state has plenty of other bodies of water as well. The Mississippi River flows north to south through much of the state, the St. Croix River forms the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin, and the Cannon River offers fun recreation opportunities. Flowing through much of western, central, and southern Minnesota, it offers plenty to see and do.
