Where will you find one of the best parks in Minnesota?

Minnesota is filled with many great parks, including Voyageurs National Park. You’ll find this park near the city of International Falls, which is located in northern Minnesota, near the Canadian border. This beautiful park was established in 1975 and covers a sprawling 218,055 acres. It’s well known for its forests, waterways, and the following three lakes: Rainy Lake, Kabetogama Lake, and Namakan Lake. For anyone who loves the outdoors, a visit to Voyageurs National Park is an absolute must.

What is one of the easiest and shortest hiking trails in Minnesota?

Like most states, hiking is one of Minnesota’s most popular outdoor recreational activities. There are several trails located throughout the state with different levels of difficulty and lengths. One of Minnesota’s trails that have both an easy rating and a short distance is Silver Creek Trail in Jay Cooke State Park. Silver Creek Trail is a 3.4-mile loop trail that features a lake. Because of its easy rating, it’s also a great trail for all skill levels. In addition to hiking, Silver Creek Trail is also used for walking, running, road biking, and camping. This scenic trail is also accessible year-round.
