Summer is flying by and it’s time to check the list of festivals in Minnesota that you cannot miss! Here are some of the most unique festivals Minnesota has to offer. Don’t worry if you missed one, you can plan for next year now! Everybody knows that the Minnesota State Fair is the BEST IN THE COUNTRY! But what else is there in Minnesota?
1. Head to the Sommerfest concert series with dining, drinks and some FREE music with the Minnesota Orchestra through the entire month of July.
4. Barnsville Potato Days - A spud-tastic two days in late August will introduce you to all the events you never knew you needed like mashed potato sculpting.
9. Stone Arch Bridge Festival of Art & Music - In June next year make sure you don't miss this Minneapolis celebration of amazing art and music on the riverfront!
12. Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival & Midwest Viking Festival - Clearly unique and very fun. Head to this festival next year for a taste of Nordic culture.
16. Svenskarnas Dag & Swedish Institute Midsommar - Put these two Minneapolis festivals together and you'll have a weekend for the record books mid June.
These are just a sampling of what Minnesota has to offer as far as festivals and fairs, but they are definitely some of the most unique in the country!
