The Small Minnesota Town That Transforms Into A Watermelon Wonderland Each Year

Here in Minnesota, we have a lot of big things to celebrate. We have great schools, arts and culture, and more than 10,000 sparkling lakes. But we Minnesotans love to celebrate the little things in life, too. Small-town festivals are the bread and butter of the Land of 10,000 Lakes. All across the state, communities gather to celebrate everything from pie to fish to fruit. At the end of every summer, Kellogg, Minnesota, holds a charming watermelon festival that you don’t want to miss. Check it out:

While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date.
