Being in the Upper Midwest, it’s not common to hear words like “canyon” or “gorge” associated with Minnesota. For the most part, the Land of 10,000 Lakes is relatively flat, dominated by forested lands, river valleys, and flat plains. But in parts of Minnesota, things get a little more rocky.
