This Scenic Trail In Minnesota Leads To An Abandoned Century Old Farm

In Jordan, Minnesota, the Mazomani Trail is one such spot. This beautiful trail crosses some of Minnesota’s most scenic landscape, and it leads to some surprising ruins. Mazomani Trail is a beautiful trail in the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge. You'll find the trail, a part of the Louisville Swamp area, just outside Jordan, Minnesota.
Mazomani is a loop trail just over 5 miles in length. While it is not paved, it is maintained throughout the year. You'll easily find your way through the trees and tall grasses.
But most of this farm has fallen to ruin. It was once occupied by the Jab family over a century ago. Today, the crumbled buildings are all that remain.
