Here in Minnesota, there are more than a few great zoos, parks, and wildlife sanctuaries that entice animal lovers from all over the state. They’re hotspots for family outings that are as fascinating as they are educational. Most of us have visited the Minnesota Zoo or Como Zoo countless times. The fun starts before you even go inside. Dinosaur-loving kids will adore the life-size dinosaurs on display.

Inside, the zoo is full of attractions. Wander around at your own pace to see all that there is on display.

More familiar animals, like these cute turtles, will also delight kids. Many of the reptiles can be found right in your own backyard!

There are several species of snakes on display, too. Sometimes, zoo employees will bring them out so that you can see how they feel!
