10 Awesome Ways To Celebrate Prince Day In Minnesota

Today, on what would have been his 58th birthday, it’s Prince Day in Minnesota. Minnesota has shown we can remember Prince in exuberant fashion, and today it’s time to prove it again. Here are a few ways you can celebrate the Purple One today and honor all the wonderful contributions he made to the world and to Minnesota.

1. Make a pilgrimage to Paisley Park, and be sure to bring something purple.

2. Or, head to iconic First Ave and pay tribute to his star.

3. Wear purple, no matter what the occasion calls for. No excuses.

4. Listen to ALL his music on Tidal. They have increased their collection of his songs today.

5. Play an epic match of ping-pong. Or at least watch the New Girl episode where he does.

6. Celebrate at an all night dance party! Or any other local celebration you can find. Plenty of restaurants and venues are hosting events in his honor.

7. Eat a big stack of pancakes!

8. Watch Purple Rain.

9. Or just all the Prince videos on YouTube. Remember that time he was on The Muppets?

10. Relive your concert memories and look through photos of that time in your life when you were just completely obsessed with Prince. Oh wait... that's still happening.
