The 11 Best Places To See A Spectacular Sunset In Minnesota

Most Minnesotans have seen some truly spectacular sunsets, and it’s all because of the beautiful places from which we can enjoy them. From the cities to North Shore, here are some of the best places to relax and enjoy the view as the sun goes down.

1. Soudan Underground Mine State Park is full of fascinating history and amazing sunset viewing spots like this one.

2. Garvin Heights in Winona has the best view overlooking the lake, city, and even the Mississippi.

3. Canal Park has some of the most spectacular views in the entire state, so naturally the sunsets are equally as gorgeous.

4. St. Paul has so many parks with spectacular views. that any of them are a good choice when looking for a sunset view. The ones from the east are especially phenomenal.

5. The Stone Arch bridge is not only an iconic structure in the cities, but it is practically made for sunset viewing.

6. The harbor in Grand Marais is an amazing place for watching the sun sink below the horizon.

7. The State Fair has some of the best summer views, and a sunset at the fair is always a fantastic view.

8. Lake Street in Minneapolis is a wonderful spot to walk at sunset and capture views of the entire city.

9. The fields of rural Minnesota make beautiful spots for watching sunsets.

10. Hastings sunsets are marvelous, especially when you can catch them over the lift-bridge.

11. Mille Lacs is a fan-favorite, but any MN lake can be a wonderful spot to watch a sunset.
