There’s a major trailhead where Cedar Avenue crosses the Minnesota River, just a few minutes from Luna di Luna. The wildlife refuge’s headquarters is also in Bloomington, but a little farther from the restaurant, located between Mall of America and Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. There, you’ll find an interpretive center, a gift shop, and a regular schedule of ranger programs. It’s a great place to spend a day working up your appetite before a pasta dinner.
