The Epic Outdoor Food Fest In Minnesota You Simply Cannot Miss

Minnesota has a lot of great festivals. If you look hard enough, you can find everything from fishing festivals to dam celebrations. But if there’s one type of festival Minnesotans excel at above all others, it’s the food festival. There are many food fests across the state each summer, all leading up towards the biggest of all at the state fair. But since we all know about the fair, let’s talk about one you may not be aware of: the Uptown Food Truck Festival.

The Uptown Food Truck Festival is Minnesota's largest food truck event.

This year, more than 60 vendors will line Hennepin Avenue to serve up food and drink to the crowd.

And what a crowd it will be. The festival is one of the most popular of the summer, drawing people from the Uptown area and beyond.

But don't worry about standing in line. There's plenty to see and do while you wait.

Visitors can participate in fun games and giveaways.

There will also be live entertainment. This year, two separate stages will host multiple bands and DJs.

And in between it all, you'll get a chance to eat some seriously delicious food.

Whether you love empanadas or paella, mini donuts or pizza, you're bound to find something to enjoy. And if all else fails, more than 10 craft brews will be available.

The 2017 Uptown Food Truck Festival is on June 25. It's located at Hennepin Avenue between Lake Street and 31st Street.
