15 Things Minnesotans ALWAYS Have To Explain To Out-Of-Towners
When you’re from Minnesota, you get used to having to defend and explain a lot of things about your state. From our position in the continental US to the reasons behind ice fishing, here are some of the things we are honestly just tired of telling out-of-towners.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. Northwest Angle Inlet, Minnesota 49°23′04.1″N 95°9′12.2″W – The farthest point north in the lower 48.

Minnesotans are often confused with being overly nice when actually we are just trying to avoid direct confrontation.

Minnesota experiences some drastic climates but to us it’s just weather and we are over talking about it.

We might be upset at times but we always bounce back and support our teams even if it has been 25 years since our last championship.

We can’t help that we are lucky enough to have so many lakes ,so it only makes sense that we would combine some of our favorite pastimes in the off season.



They are actually two separate cities and you are from one or the other or a suburb nearby.

The Juicy Lucy was created here, we're just not quite sure which restaurant created it.

Now please never ask, “What is that?”

There are 8 miles of climate controlled skyways that make it effortless to walk around in bad weather.


But we actually do sound like them, “You're darn tootin' we do!”

We don’t hate snow, we embrace it.

World’s largest ball of twine. ‘Nuff said.

With no alcohol sold on Sundays in Minnesota, sometimes we have to travel to the last place we want to go.
