Here in Minnesota, there are spooky spots all around us. Restaurants, hotels, and even music venues are full of haunted lore. But unsurprisingly, the most haunted places of all are old, nearly forgotten cemeteries. There’s one such cemetery in Renville County, Minnesota, that is notorious for its eerie activity. Vicksburg Cemetery is in south-central Minnesota. It's on an empty road between the towns of Renville and Delhi. The cemetery originally served the town of Vicksburg, which became a ghost town in 1878.

Today, you can feel the cemetery's long history. A heavily wooded path leads to the site of many century-old burials.

At the end the path, a small, grassy field will greet you. It may not look like a cemetery at first, but the crumbling headstones will soon become apparent.
