Minnesotans are known for being “MN nice” which often means making a pretty big effort to avoid conflict. However, there are a few things that are known for making our blood boil, and if you happen to say or do these 12 in particular, you can pretty much guarantee an angry Minnesotan.

1. Ask us if we hang out at MOA all the time.

3. Or even worse, make fun of it.

4. Insult hockey.

Hockey is our sport. And if you insult our sport you insult us.
5. Don't stop to help people - especially during the winter.

The key to survival in a cold state is everybody helping each other out. If you're rude to us, or ignore us, we won't take it too well.
6. Insult our local beer.

10. Tell us we sound like we're in Fargo.

11. Insult our teams.

Even if they lose, they're ours, and there's nothing that will make us angry faster than putting down the teams we love.
12. Pretending not to know about the state fair... or saying it's not a big deal.
