Anyone who’s spent more than a few nights in Minnesota knows that this state has some of the most beautiful countryside in the United States. Thick forests surround sparkling lakes, waving grass covers rolling hills, and cows low on rural farms. A Minnesota road trip is a great decision, but there are other ways to experience our state’s countryside. One of the best? Riding the rails on one of the few historic trains left in the state.
