When most of us think of bakeries, we’re likely to imagine glass cases stuffed with donuts, fritters, cupcakes, and cookies. And if you’re in Minnesota, it’s not hard to find a bakery that serves up each of these items in spades. But there are plenty of other pastries and baked goodies that don’t get as much love. One of our favorites is the buttery, flaky, all-around delicious croissant. Bakeries that serve these delicious treats are fewer in number, there there is one fantastic spot hidden in Minnesota that serves the freshest croissants around. Take a look:
Trung Nam French Bakery is a little-known, low key spot in St. Paul. You'll find it at 739 University Ave. W., St Paul, MN 55104.
Try the cinnamon sugar palmiers. Eat one in the bakery, and grab a few to take home with you. You'll want them later, and at only 75 cents each, how can you go wrong?
