Spend The Night In A Castle On The River At This Amazing Airbnb In Minnesota
Who among us hasn’t dreamt of living in a castle? Unfortunately, there aren’t many royal fortresses in Minnesota – or anywhere else in the United States. There are even fewer that actually allow you to spend the night. But we did manage to dig up one spot. It’s about as close to a castle as we’ll get without traveling to Europe, and it’s absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a magical way to treat yourself, consider booking a stay in the Castle on St. Croix River.
The Castle on St. Croix River is a cavernous stone mansion just outside of Stillwater, in Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota.
The castle is surrounded by nature, with six acres of grounds surrounding it. You'll have perfect peace and relaxation during your stay. And if you'd like to get outside, the castle is near William O'Brien State Park and right on the banks of the St. Croix River.
Inside, the castle is just as impressive as it is on the outside. You'll find architectural details reminiscent of medieval castles, like round turrets, stone walls, and wood accents. It is absolutely gorgeous.
The castle is not only gorgeous. It's also immensely comfortable. The sitting areas are furnished with large, cozy furniture and plenty of space. Large windows offer beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
In addition to the living rooms, there's also a huge gourmet kitchen equipped with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. All you have to do is bring the ingredients!
There are four bedrooms in the castle, which can accommodate up to 8 guests. This is a great retreat for a family or group of friends craving just a bit of luxury.
Of course, one of the best amenities is the huge patio overlooking the St. Croix River. Watch wildlife, see boats go by, and enjoy the great outdoors. This beautiful castle on the river is full of peace and luxury.
