The humble biscuit is often forgotten, but that doesn’t make them any less delicious. That goes double for a little restaurant in small town Minnesota where they serve some of the best biscuits in the state. A trip to this place is a must if you love classic comfort foods.

Beyond its unassuming entrance, G's Cafe is a cozy shop featuring exposed brick, comfortable booths and tables, and a friendly atmosphere.

The restaurant has an Irish theme, so many of its menu items are served with an Irish flare. Favorites include homemade corned beef, a breakfast item known as the Irish Skillet, and more.

Speaking of breakfast, G's Cafe is especially known for its fantastic breakfast menu. It's full of delicious staples. There are also rotating weekend specials, such as cinnamon swirl pancakes or bananas foster pancakes.

But there is one special that has a place in G's every weekend: its homemade biscuits and gravy. This meal is served only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
