Palms Book State Park is located off County Hwy 442 in beautiful Manistique.
This Upper Peninsula destination is full to the brim with gorgeous greenery, ample outdoor space to explore, and some of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable.
With 388 acres of land to peruse, you’ll find yourself happily immersed in the forested beauty that makes Palms Book so special. On a summer day, there’s nothing better.
Of course, the real star of the show at this state park is Kitch-iti-Kipi, a stunning natural spring that seems to appear out of nowhere among the lush Michigan wilderness.
This otherworldly spring boasts crystal clear turquoise waters and fast-moving schools of fish, all of which can be observed from a unique viewing platform within the park.
Marvel at the sandstone bedrock as it mixes with swirling sand below the water’s pristine and calm surface. You’ll wonder if you’ve landed in an entirely new universe.
Palms Book State Park also contains approximately one mile of shoreline frontage on nearby Indian Lake, which offers its own fair share of natural wonder and delight.
