At the center of the city sits — you guessed it — Lake Angelus. This lovely body of water was originally called Three Mile Lake during the community’s founding in the early 20th century.
Lake Angelus was designated as a village for a large portion of its early years, but it gained the title of city in 1984. Today, it’s a beautiful yet tiny area.
