The forest itself consists of 160 acres and a variety of hiking options for every athletic level. While the trail system totals three miles, Witch Hazel Trail is the longest individual loop.
If you follow the full Witch Hazel pathway, you’ll enjoy 1.8 miles of forested beauty, hilly terrain, and plenty of flora and fauna. There’s always something new to see along the way.
For those who want to immerse themselves in a unique woodland section, Ringwood Forest’s Historic Spruce Alley fits the bill, offering .4 miles of towering spruce trees.
Other options include the Lumberjack Loop, the Muskrat Flats Trail, and the Pine Promenade. If it were up to us, though, visitors would make sure to check out every inch of hiking space.
