The area is covered in tremendously beautiful forest, rushing rivers and trickling streams that turn into mesmerizing waterfalls, and miles of Lake Superior shoreline that you could explore forever. The state park also hosts over 90 miles of trails that can be used for hiking and exploring, and has multiple campgrounds if you are looking for a multi-day, overnight outing.
