Every Detroit family is different, but there are plenty of similarities that seem constant among people from the Motor City. After all, life in our beloved city is undeniably unique – and that’s something we’ll always share. Whether you and your kin are longtime Detroit residents or relative newcomers, here are ten things you’re likely to have somewhere inside your home.
Detroiters love pop, and we all know that Faygo is the greatest pop of them all. After all, we’ve been drinking this delicious fizzy beverage for as long as we can remember, and nothing screams "Detroit summer" quite like a refreshing sip of Redpop. Unless, of course, you prefer Rock ‘N Rye!
Doritos? What are those? When it comes to snack foods, Detroiters keep their pantries stocked with products made right here in the Motor City. There’s something undeniably fantastic about enjoying a salty snack that has its origins in our neck of the woods, and Better Made fits the bill perfectly.

If there’s one thing we Detroiters can’t get enough of, it’s sports. From the Tigers to the Red Wings to our beloved (albeit imperfect) Lions, most of us are hardcore fans of a team or two.
