Michigan has really experienced a renewed interest from outsiders wanting to experience the state’s revival. But even though population decline has slowed and we’re increasingly running into folks who have just moved into town, wouldn’t it be even more welcoming if we had some of the same comfort foods popular in other regions of the country? After all, the best way to win over a new friend is through their stomach.
Popular in the South, this place specializes in real comfort food... Wouldn't a plate of waffles and fried chicken be great right here in Michigan?
Michigan has some of the best burgers around and we're not saying the Mitten is lacking in that department. But can you really have too many burger options? This Texas-based chain makes a pretty tasty option that Michiganders would surely welcome.
