Wingaersheek Beach is one of Gloucester's best kept secrets, and you'll want to spend hours strolling along the glimmering sand.
While the white, sandy beach is beautiful, this beach is also surrounded by boulders and tide pools, making it the perfect spot for finding sand dollars.
These live sand dollars come in all different shapes and sizes, and are easiest to spot at low tide. If you look in the tide pools and beside rocks, you're sure to find a treasure.
Even though live sand dollars are fascinating, you will want to consider leaving them at the beach. While taking one home is okay, you'll want to keep this natural spot as untouched as possible so there will be many more to find in the future.
