So what’s whitewater rafting like? Basically, you hop into a raft with a bunch of your friends and cruise down the river, encountering choppy waters caused by underwater rocks and strong currents along the way. You’ll be wearing a life jacket and helmet, but falling out of the raft is extremely unlikely. Your guide will also be doing all the navigating and maneuvering, so all you have to do is paddle and hold on tight.

If you opt for the Fife Brook option, you can expect a 10-mile journey with one exciting Class III stretch of rapids and lots of smaller, fun rapids. This experience also includes plenty of serene floating and the opportunity to get out and swim in the river. The minimum age for this trip is 8 years old, and the journey will take 3-4 hours with an included lunch or dinner.

If you choose the more intense Monroe Bridge option, you’ll be out on the water for about 2-3 hours and can expect to encounter thrilling rapids with cool names like "Devil’s Odds," "Landslide," and "The Terminator." You’ll also be provided with the option to have a cookout at the base.

Guests have the option to book a full or half-day adventure. You can also choose to venture down the river in a raft or inflatable kayak. Either way, you’ll have an experienced guide with you every step of the way, making sure everyone’s having the maximum amount of fun while staying safe.
