As far as visiting Massachusetts goes, most people stick to summer beach trips and vacation trips to the coast. And with good reason – Massachusetts is a horrible place to be during the winter months.
It’s true. No sane person would ever think of spending any amount of time in the Bay State between the months of November and March. Why bother?
Here are few reasons why you’d best steer clear of Massachusetts during the winter.

Who would want to spend time somewhere that looks like that? You’d hurt your eyes.

Don’t expect to see a hint of color until all that nasty snow melts.

We basically all hole up in our living rooms until the spring thaw.

There’s basically nothing out there but endless frozen wasteland.

We’re forced to subsist on the Hoodsie Cups left at the back of the freezer from summer.

It's a shame how all life here just withers and dies with the first frost.

Everyone knows there’s no way to enjoy the coast once the mercury drops below freezing.

Our natural resources are rendered horrible and unusable.

It’s a ghost town out there.
