This Unbelievable Experience In Massachusetts Lets You Fly Through A Fantasy World

If you’ve ever wanted to walk through a fantasy universe, now’s your chance. One amazing art exhibit at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) is letting visitors do just that.

Chalkboard” is the brainchild of acclaimed mixed media artist Laurie Anderson and Hsin-Chien Huang. Basically, it invites guests to don a virtual reality headset and fly through a fantastical yet strangely realistic world where huge structures are formed out of words, drawings, and stories.

During these uncertain times, please keep safety in mind and consider adding destinations to your bucket list to visit at a later date.

This experience is only available at Mass MoCA for a limited time, though the exhibit will definitely run through 2019. You must book a time to visit the exhibit beforehand (which you can do here), and there are slots available from 11 a.m. to 4:20 p.m. every day. Experiencing this exhibit is free with admission to the museum.

The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MoCA) is located at 1040 MASS MoCA Way, North Adams, Mass. Check out their website for more information and other exhibits. If you love art, check outthese museums across the state that are just too weird for words.
