Throughout the Bay State, we have so many options to make memories on a weekend getaway. Between the beaches and the mountains, there are certainly some amazing places we can spend the night. You may also choose to have a small-town getaway in Massachusetts, and there’s one small-town cottage we are going to look at today.
New Marlborough is a small Berkshire town that's home to less than 1,500 residents. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in charm and beauty.
Located on the New Marlborough Village Green is a lovely cottage that makes for a perfect small-town getaway in Massachusetts. The 600-square-foot cottage backs up to a field so there's plenty of scenery around.
While you're bound to spend most of your time outdoors when the weather is nice, the interior of the cottage is quite charming. The newly renovated kitchen is well-equipped and has views of the fields out back. It also opens up to the living room.
The second bedroom has two twin beds as well as a dresser and is the perfect room for children. In all, this cottage can accommodate up to four guests.
If you want a night out, across the street from this VRBO is the Old Inn On The Green Restaurant. Offering fine dining, it's a wonderful spot for a romantic date night.
