You Can Enjoy Breakfast With Sloths At This Massachusetts Zoo
You know what they say: breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when you’re dining with sloths. This Massachusetts zoo gives guests the chance to do just that. Here’s what you need to know.
Franklin Park Zoo is tucked away in Boston, Mass. This zoo hosts a breakfast event unlike any other where guests can get up close and personal with real two-toed sloths!
The "Breakfast With The Sloth" event will be held on Feb. 17 and March 2, 2019. This unique encounter allows guests to enjoy a delicious continental breakfast while learning all about Earth’s slowest mammal. Registrants will receive special early entry into the zoo and get to observe the sloths interact with their carers and eat breakfast of their own.

Though there isn’t any direct contact with the sloths – sorry, no petting – kids and adults will absolutely love coming face to face with these adorable and fascinating creatures over tasty treats. If you can’t get enough of all things sloth, both the Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo, its sister Zoo in Stoneham, MA also offer a behind-the-scenes-tour for up to four guests where you’ll get to follow the keepers that look after these sloths every day.
Besides the sloths, Franklin Park Zoo offers so much to do and see for guests of all ages. Kids will love walking through the Butterfly Hollow and clambering around in the Children’s Zoo play area. The zoo also offers a giraffe savannah and lion area where you can observe these incredible creatures up close. Don’t miss the tiger exhibit or gorilla encampment in the tropical forest!
Admission to the “Breakfast With The Sloth” event is $20 per person for members and $25 for non-members. Children under two can attend for free. The group meets at the Giraffe entrance to the zoo at 9 a.m. on the event date.
