Hosted by The Trustees at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate, this nature walk will take you through glittering dunes and past shimmering moonlit waves.
You’ll see the seashore transformed by the glow of the full moon. The sharp smell of the sea will be mingled with the crisp winter wind as you make your way along the sand.
Wrap up warm for this event! You’ll be by the open water, so it might be windy. You’re free to bring a flashlight or a headlamp, but they aren’t necessary.
The Algonquin tribes named this particular midwinter moon the Long Nights Moon and the Cold Moon. Your guide will ask for a few moments of complete darkness so that the group can enjoy the full beauty of the moon and the scenery.
