The Hoosac Valley Train Ride Offers Some Of The Most Breathtaking Views In Massachusetts
All aboard the Hoosac Valley Train Ride! This gorgeous train excursion is run by the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum and will take you through some truly beautiful Berkshire scenery. It’s the perfect way to spend a memorable day with loved ones.
You’ll love watching the gorgeous hills of the Berkshires roll by from your seat on the scenic Hoosac Valley Train Ride.
The trip will take you from Adams all the way to North Adams on a one-hour, round-trip ride. It follows the historic Adams railroad and sweeps by breathtaking rural scenery.
The vintage train coaches were built in the early 1900s and have been charmingly restored. You’ll feel like a proper lady or gentleman as you settle into the comfortable bench seating.
This excursion is lovely in the summer or fall. Leaf peepers may prefer to book later in the season, but we have a soft spot for the bright green foliage of early summer.
Trains usually depart at 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Prices for 2021 have yet to be confirmed, but tickets typically go for less than $20 per adult.
Tickets for the summer season typically go on sale after May 31. Advanced tickets are required but can be purchased up to 30 minutes before departure. Be sure to check online for accurate pricing and departure information!
