Starting in Truro, we begin our summertime adventure at this picturesque campground. Pitch a tent among the pines or bring your RV as long as it's under 24 feet. Relax at your campsite while breathing in the salt air. There's simply nothing more relaxing!

This camping area is no less than a half-mile from the beach. And it's not just any beach but one of the spectacular Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, Head of the Meadow! Take one of the scrub pine forest hiking trails to the beach or head to the road and follow it to the sand. Either way that you get there, you're staying at one of the most scenic, most unique campgrounds in the state.

This gorgeous 1,900-acre state park has more than 400 campsites available. On top of that, there are six yurts available here as well. Bring your tent, bring your RV, or book a yurt and explore all that
Nickerson State Park has to offer.

Nickerson State Park is home to miles upon miles of hiking trails that will lead you on a wonderful adventure. Head into the woods and stop by one of several ponds. The Cape Cod Rail Trail travels past this park as well, so remember to take your bike or rent one at a nearby bike shop.

The 700-acre Shawme-Crowell State Forest is filled with pitch pine and oak scrub forests. A gorgeous place for camping, you can reserve one of nearly 300 campsites.

Aside from camping, there are over 15 miles of trails as well as roads for hiking and horseback riding. Take the opportunity to explore this park that happens to be located at the very beginning of Cape Cod.

Myles Standish State Forest is found in southeastern Massachusetts. Here you can experience plenty of recreation including biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, and, of course, camping. Reserve one of 400 campsites in the forest where you can truly connect with nature.

If you enjoy hiking deep into the woods, this state park is perfect to explore. Surround yourself with pine and oak trees as you trek along more than 13 miles of trails.

Horseneck Beach State Reservation offers more than two miles along the beach and is one of the few places in the state where you can camp right on the sand. There are 100 campsites located just behind a sand dune. There's nothing better or more relaxing than falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing along the shore.
