A Christmas Star Will Light Up The Massachusetts Sky For The First Time In Centuries

The planets are putting on a once-in-a-lifetime show later this month, and Massachusetts will have a front-row seat!

An astronomical phenomenon known as the Christmas Star is happening in just over a week. Here’s why you’ll want to keep your eyes to the skies!

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

If you happen to miss the Christmas Star of 2020, you’ll have another shot at seeing Saturn and Jupiter in conjunction in 2040. However, they won’t be this close again until 2080. All the more reason to get out there and do some stargazing!
